June 3rd: National Leave The Office Early Day
by EMVY Magazine
Who doesn’t love a good made up National Holiday? We love them! If the internet says it is so, then it must be true, right? June 2nd is National Leave The Office Early Day, but when it falls on the weekend like it does this year, it is celebrated on June 3rd. You know what that means, don’t you?
It means that if the sun is shining, you should probably leave work around lunch time and head down to Coop deVille for wings, seafood and a cold beer (you can day drink when you don’t have to go back to work)
It means you can leave the office and head over to Morning Glory Farm to grab a bunch of fresh flowers for your dining room table
It means that you can leave early, grab some new bedding at Ocean Breeze Bedding and go home and take a nap before the kids get out of school
It means that you can stop by Juice By The Sea for a healthy green juice and then head straight to the gym, instead of putting it off because you are too tired later after “such a long day”
It means that if you aren’t your own boss, you’ll probably have to ask permission before leaving early or you might not have a job to come back to on Tuesday (don’t blame us for poor decision making!)
Happy National Leave The Office Early Day!
What are you going to do when you leave the office early?
